“Inspired by texture, light, spirit and sound, my creative process is channeling right through me and my strokes happen effortlessly.”

— JULIA SCHEUER

Julia Scheuer is renowned for her wonderfully unexpected glistening moments of landscapes, abstracts, and portraits. She has developed an innovative palette using duct tape and acrylics, which utilizes different textures and bold colors to saturate and graphically enhance her paintings. Her work is widely collected and represented in a number of important collections in America and abroad.

Born and raised in Germany by respected artists, Julia established her career as a painter of whimsical art. She is a graduate of Parsons School of Design in New York City, and her work has been included in internationally recognized charitable foundations, such as the Art Walk supporting the Coalition for the homeless in NYC and the Cura Children’s Foundation based in Switzerland. Her work was selected in a juried exhibition at the Deichtorhallen Museum of Modern Art in Hamburg, Germany.
